Ann is Vice President, Trust Officer of the Bank's Wealth Management department's newly created Group Insurance Trust Division and provides trustee services for all types of group insurance trusts, including multiple employer trusts, association trusts, and annuity trusts. She is responsible for the development and management of the Group Insurance Trust Division, including new business, trust administration, strategic planning, as well as development and implementation of policies and procedures.
Ann brings to Washington Trust more than 35 years of fiduciary and insurance experience, having administered more than 400 group insurance trusts during that time. She began her career at Rhode Island Hospital Trust National Bank before joining Citizens Bank in 1988 as assistant vice president and manager of group insurance trusts. Prior to joining Washington Trust, Ann served as vice president and manager, group insurance trusts at BankNewport in Middletown, R.I.
Ann is a member of the Professional Insurance Marketing Association and the Life and Health Compliance Association. She was company co-chair of the United Way of Rhode Island, and served on the Memory Walk Committee for the Alzheimer's Association of Rhode Island. A graduate of Bryant University with a bachelor of science in business administration, Ann resides in North Kingstown, R.I.
