Beth, a Westerly, R.I. resident, is responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategy for the Bank, including advertising, market research, product development and public relations for retail and commercial lending, retail banking and wealth management services. She is also responsible for corporate communications, investor relations, employee volunteerism and administration of the community sponsorships and contribution program.
She joined the Bank in September 1991 and has more than 20 years of professional marketing experience. She graduated magna cum laude from Boston College with a bachelor's degree in Marketing, and a master's degree with honors from the University of Rhode Island. She is a graduate of the American Banker's Association's School of Bank Marketing, the Graduate School of Banking, and has earned designation as a Certified Financial Marketing Professional. Beth also graduated from Leadership Rhode Island in 2005 and is a member of the Alpha II class.
Beth is a member of the Board of Directors of the Westerly Youth Lacrosse League and the Ocean Community YMCA swim team, Westerly-Pawcatuck branch, and is an advisory board member of the Domestic Violence Resource Center of South County. She recently served as a member of the Rhode Island Go Red for Women Executive Leadership Team. Beth serves as a Community Advisory member for the Junior League of Rhode Island, as a corporator of the Community Health of Westerly (parent corporation of The Westerly Hospital), and incorporator of the Memorial and Library Association of Westerly. She is active in local school, athletic and community groups. She is a member of the ABA Bank Marketing Network and the New England Bank Marketing Association. Beth has served as an instructor for the New England College of Finance and a guest lecturer at the University of Rhode Island and Johnson & Wales University, as well as various other organizations.
