Jim, a Warwick, R.I. resident, is responsible for overseeing all commercial banking activities including commercial and industrial lending, commercial real estate lending, cash management and related commercial banking activities
Prior to joining Washington Trust, Jim served as the Rhode Island Regional Manager at Citizens Bank, where he was responsible for managing middle market and not-for-profit business in Rhode Island. In addition, he has more than 13 years of commercial lending experience with BankBoston with specialization in healthcare, energy, public finance and education. Prior to his banking career, he served as Finance Director for the City of Warwick. A graduate of Providence College, Jim holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Rhode Island. He is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Rhode Island Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Jim serves on the boards of the Rhode Island Clean Water Finance Agency, the Boys and Girls Club of Warwick, the Rhode Island Public Health Institute and Amos House. Additionally, he serves on the Finance Committee of the Providence Public Library, Care New England, and Saint Rose and Clement Parish, as well as the Executive Committee of the Anchor of Hope Fund.
