Mark, a Barrington, R.I. resident, is executive vice president and treasurer. He is responsible for oversight of the Bank's Retail Banking division, asset/liability management, strategic planning, budgeting and profitability reporting processes, and investment and wholesale funding portfolios.
He joined Washington Trust in September 1993 as financial planning officer and most recently served as senior vice president and financial planning officer. Mark graduated magna cum laude from Brown University with a bachelor's degree in 1987, and a master's degree in 1988 from the London School of Economics in London, England. Mark serves as President of the Community College of Rhode Island Charitable Foundation and is a member of the board of trustees of the Trinity Repertory Company and the board of directors of The Rhode Island Free Clinic, the YMCA of Greater Providence and the Rhode Island Philharmonic School of Music. He also serves as Lecturer on the faculty of the Morin Center for Banking at the Boston University School of Law.
