About Daniel J. McMorrow, Jr.

Dan McMorrow is Vice President, Mortgage Lending, working out of the Bank's Home Loan Center in Sharon, Mass. Prior to joining Washington Trust, Dan spent 17 years as President of a Boston based Mortgage Company. In his 24 years in mortgage lending, he has originated more than $500 million in mortgage loans, and continues to work with homebuyers throughout New England. He is a trusted advisor to an extensive network of financial professionals, realtors, CPAs, attorneys, and their clients.

Dan is a graduate of Providence College. He has been a member of the College's “President's Council” since 1996, is currently serving a third 3-year term on the PC Board of Trustees-Development Committee, and was a 5-year member of the Athletic Advisory Council. Dan was the recipient of the Providence College National Alumni Association's “Personal Achievement Award” for 2005, as well as the Boston Alumni Club's “VERITAS” Award in 2004.

Dan is also active in civic and business affairs in the greater Boston area, serving as member of the Financial Services Committee of the New England Council. He was appointed to a 3-year term as Conservation Commissioner in his hometown of Braintree MA, and has been an active member of the Board of Directors of the Catholic Charities Laboure Center in South Boston since 1996. He serves on the Advisory Board for St. Francis of Assisi School in Braintree MA, and is a member of the Board of Trustees of his alma mater, Archbishop Williams High School, where he delivered the Commencement address in 2006. He is also the Head Coach of the JV football team at Milton Academy in Milton, MA.

Dan and his wife Marianne, live in Braintree, with their sons, Jack and Tom.
