Douglas A. Biggar
Managing Director

Doug was one of the founders of Weston Financial in 1979. He is currently a Managing Director and a Senior Financial Counselor. He is also a voting member of the firm's Investment Committee.

Prior to joining Weston Financial, Doug was employed by the law firm of Grabill & Ley and became a full partner in charge of the probate and tax practice. He then joined the accounting firm of Laventhal & Horwath as a Senior Tax Specialist, concentrating on income tax and estate tax planning. He also worked in the legal department of Putnam Mutual Funds.

Doug is a graduate of Northeastern University where he received a B.A. degree and Doctor of Jurisprudence degree and the Boston University School of Law where he received a Masters in Taxation. He is licensed as an attorney in Massachusetts and is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association.
