David joined Washington Trust in 1994, and is Vice President, Senior Fiduciary Officer. He is responsible for managing large and complex trust relationships, the settlement of complex estates, the management of departmental risk through document review, litigation oversight and assistance in the development of fiduciary policies and procedures to be carried out and followed by trust administration staff. He was an attorney for more than 10 years before coming to the corporation, and holds a B.A. from Union College and a J.D. from Syracuse University College of Law. David is treasurer of the Community Foundation of Southeastern Connecticut, the chairman of the James and Mary Shea Foundation, and a board member of the Rhode Island Estate Planning Council.
