Jim, a Coventry, R.I. resident joined Washington Trust in December 1998, and is responsible for overseeing all commercial lending activities for the Bank. A Bryant College graduate, Jim has more than thirty years of banking experience specializing in commercial lending. During his career, Jim has held various positions with responsibilities in branch banking, risk management, investment banking, middle market and small business lending, and credit administration.
Jim is a member of the Rhode Island Bankers Association and The Risk Management Association. He is on the Board of Trustees of Kent Hospital. Jim has served on the Board of Governors of the Warwick Boys and Girls Club, Director of the Central RI Development Corporation, Director of First Night –Westerly, and was the Westerly Chair of the 2000 and 2001 United Way of Southeastern New England Annual Campaign. He has also served in leadership roles for the fundraising activities of the National Conference for Community and Justice, Meeting Street Center and Catholic Charities.
