Russell, a resident of Narragansett, R.I., leads the commercial lending team for business development and expansion in northern and central Rhode Island. He also manages his own commercial portfolio.

Russell is chairman of the board of the Sargent Rehabilitation Center, a member of the board of directors for the Rhode Island Airport Corporation, and the former chair of the North Kingstown Chamber of Commerce. He holds a bachelor's degree from Bryant College.
