the PB Xpress!

We're excited to have you onboard for our tenth “PB Xpress” peanut butter drive to benefit the RI Community Food Bank! Our 2010 drive will run from March 1st - April 30th with the goal of collecting 23 tons of peanut butter - that's approximately 46,000 jars. A hefty goal, but every jar counts and with your help, we know we can reach our goal and help Rhode Island families in need.

Here's some additional information to help you have a successful peanut butter drive:

• Please email us as soon as possible at marketing@washtrust.com and we'll send you posters for your PB Xpress collection boxes.
  
  
• Display your collection boxes in a visible area and attach the signs we will provide.
  
  
• Be creative! Consistently promote the drive through March and April. Create challenges amongst internal departments or classes and designate a “peanut butter captain” who will generate weekly reminders and share peanut butter, or come up with your own unique way to generate enthusiasm.
  
  
• Follow the “PB Xpress” on Facebook for news, updates, fun facts, ideas and to “spread the word” to others.
  
  
• Count and deliver your peanut butter. If you collect more than 300 jars, the Food Bank will pick up your boxes at the end of the drive. Or, drop off your peanut butter on “Collection Day” at our Governor Francis branch in Warwick on Saturday, April 24th from 10-1 where the Food Bank will weigh all donations and issue receipts. We'll also have refreshments, the WEEI sports radio street team, Samboni from the PBruins and more!
