Westerly, Rhode Island... The Washington Trust Company announced today that it is expanding its ATM network by placing machines in all 48 Brooks Pharmacy stores located throughout Rhode Island and in several stores in southeastern Mass.
"Expansion of Washington Trust's ATM network is an important part of our growth strategy in the Providence County and Kent County market areas, and it reinforces our presence in the Washington County market," said John C. Warren, Chairman and CEO of The Washington Trust Company. "We are very pleased to partner with Brooks Pharmacy in this venture. Their statewide locations will make it easier for our customers to access their accounts. When they see the Washington Trust logo on the ATMs in Brooks stores, they'll know they can use them and not worry about paying any service charges."
"Brooks Pharmacy is proud to offer the convenience of Washington Trust ATMs to our customers," added Michael Coutu, President and CEO of Brooks Pharmacy. "Installation began in mid-July and should be finished in the next few weeks."
Washington Trust ATMs have recently been installed in Brooks stores in Providence, Cranston, East Providence, Pawtucket, North Providence, Smithfield, and North Scituate. A list of Washington Trust ATM locations can be found on the Bank's website, www.washtrust.com, under the "Locations" menu.
