Washington Trust contributed $10,000 to a fund it established in January with the American Red Cross to benefit the victims of January's earthquake and tsunami in Asia. Washington Trust also collected more than $4,700 in contributions for the fund at each of its 16 branch offices located throughout Rhode Island and southeastern Connecticut.
