
February 13, 2006 (Westerly, RI) . . . Michael Cummings, a resident of Narragansett, R.I., has been named vice president, commercial lending officer, SBA specialist for Washington Trust. Cummings, who works out of the Bank's Warwick office on 236 Centerville Road, is responsible for developing new commercial relationships and serves as the Bank's primary liaison for all Small Business Association loans. Cummings holds a B.A. and an M.B.A. from the University of Rhode Island. He volunteers as a member of the finance committee for Saint Elizabeth Community in East Greenwich and as a member of the Smithfield Lion's Club.
