Washington Trust Receives Worksite Health Award

Bank Honored For Third Consecutive Year
July 25, 2006 (Westerly, RI) . . . . Washington Trust received the Outstanding Award by the Worksite Wellness Council of Rhode Island on Tuesday, May 23. The award was presented to the Bank at the 12th Annual Worksite Health Awards Ceremony breakfast held at The Crowne Plaza at the Crossings. This is the third consecutive year that Washington Trust has been recognized for its wellness program.

The Worksite Health Award is sponsored by the Greater Providence Chamber of Commerce, Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Rhode Island and the Worksite Wellness Council of RI. At the breakfast, 83 organizations were recognized with the local Worksite Health Award and 17 organizations with the national WELCOA Well Workplace Award.
