Donald J. McCarron, a resident of Narragansett, R.I., has been promoted to vice president, technology security. McCarron joined the Bank as an auditor in 1995, with over 20 years of experience in bank auditing. During his eleven years with Washington Trust, he has audited many functions within the bank. Recently, he has focused his expertise on technology and information systems audit. McCarron is a graduate of Bryant University, and is a Certified Internal Auditor and a Certified Fraud Examiner. He is a member of the Narragansett Lions and treasurer for Troop 1 in Narragansett.
Gloria J. Miner, a resident of Niantic, Conn., has
been promoted to assistant vice president & investment officer,
1800 Asset Management. Miner joined the Bank in 2001 as an investment
assistant. She quickly assumed investment responsibility for a number
of small account relationships, and steadily increased the size
and complexity of her investment portfolio. In January 2003, she
was promoted to assistant portfolio manager and investment officer.
Later that year, she graduated from the New England School of Banking
and received the James F. Lordan Award for academic excellence.
She is committed to providing her clients with a high level of proactive
service and has assisted business development officers in numerous
prospective client presentations.
