Charlene P. Davenport, of Ledyard, Conn., has joined the marketing department as Public and Community Relations Coordinator at the Bank's Main Office in Westerly. She will play a key role in helping to promote the Washington Trust brand and the Bank's employees through press releases, media placement and publicity photos. She will also oversee community sponsorships, manage the employee volunteerism program and coordinate outreach initiatives. Davenport has extensive experience in public and media relations. She has a M.S. from Eastern Connecticut State University and a B.A. from the University of Connecticut.
Lonnie Littler, of New London, Conn., has been named
assistant branch manager of Washington Trust's Mystic A & P
branch. She will oversee the new branch's daily operations, and
will be responsible supervising the in-store financial services
staff, and for promoting and cross-selling the Bank's products and
services. Littler has more than ten years experience in banking
sales, service and mortgages. She has a B.S. from Utica College
of Syracuse University.
