Washington Trust Announces Employee Promotion

Sharon L.
Morgan, a resident of
Mystic, Conn., has been promoted
to assistant vice president and branch manager of the Wakefield, R.I.
Office of The Washington Trust Company. She is responsible for managing
the growth and operations of the Wakefield Office at 730 Kingstown
Road. Morgan joined the Bank in 1998 as an administrative assistant
in the New London Trust Office. She was promoted to financial services
officer in 1999, and worked closely with the branches as the business
development officer for the Presidential Select Investment Portfolios.
In April 2005, she was named branch manager of the Wakefield Office.
Morgan is a graduate of Providence College with a Bachelor of Science
degree in Business Administration.
