Washington Trust Sr. V.P. to Speak at ABA Marketing Conference
September 8, 2006 (Westerly, RI) . . . Elizabeth B. Eckel, senior vice president, marketing for The Washington Trust Company will speak on September 12, at the American Banker's Association (ABA) 2006 Marketing Conference at the Hyatt Regency in Chicago, Ill.
Eckel will speak on 'Creating a Sustainable Competitive Advantage with Your Charitable Giving Programs,' and will provide strategies, case studies and lessons learned for successful community relations programs.
Eckel, a Westerly, R.I. resident, joined Washington Trust in 1991 and has more than 20 years experience in professional marketing experience. She is responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategy for the Bank, including advertising, research, product development and public relations for retail and commercial lending, retail banking and wealth management services. She is also responsible for corporate communications, investor relations, employee volunteerism and administration of the community sponsorships and contribution program.
