June 21, 2007 (Westerly, RI). . . Patricia M. Hartford, of Westerly, R.I. has been appointed vice president and manager of the Cash Management division of The Washington Trust Company. She is responsible for the growth and retention of the Bank’s commercial and municipal cash management portfolio. Hartford joined the bank in 1982 in the Operations Department, and moved to the Retail, Sales & Service Department in 1997. She became a business relationship officer in 2000 and an assistant vice president of Business Services in 2002. Hartford has a B.S. from, and plans to pursue her MBA at Providence College. She is on the Town of Westerly’s Economic Development Commission.
