Washington Trust's Ann Smith
Graduates from New England College of Finance

September 28, 2007 (Westerly, RI). . . Ann L. Smith, operations specialist for The Washington Trust Company, recently earned an Associate Degree in Business Administration from the New England College of Finance in Boston, Mass. She was enrolled in the college’s Accounting and Finance program and graduated Summa Cum Laude. Smith also holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Sarah Lawrence College in Bronxville, N.Y.

Smith, a resident of Westerly, R.I., joined the Bank in 2001. She is an active volunteer at bank-sponsored events including American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life, the Charlestown Chamber of Commerce’s Annual Seafood Festival and Blues on the Beach.
