Washington Trust Senior Vice President To Speak At Technology Conference

October 23, 2007 (Westerly, RI). . . Barbara J. Perino, senior vice president, operations and technology for The Washington Trust Company, will speak at the “Tech Trends for Bank – Powering the Business With Technology” Conference on Monday, December 3, 2007, at the Arizona Biltmore in Phoenix, Ariz. Perino will speak on “Revamping Core Systems,” and will provide strategies, case studies and lessons learned for successful systems implementations.

Perino, a Westerly, R.I. resident, is responsible for managing the Bank’s operations and technology divisions including the development of the Bank’s technology strategic plan, system selections and implementations, and information technology security. She has more than 20 years of banking experience with a specialization in finance, accounting, operations and technology.
