The Washington Trust Charitable Foundation has made a 5-year, $125,000 commitment to support the South County Hospital Healthcare Systems’ “The Campaign for South County Hospital” fund. The hospital will use the fund to complete the newly built inpatient care facility, to relocate and expand clinical laboratories, to renovate to accommodate the new orthopedics inpatient wing, and expand and modernize the Intensive Care Unit.
The hospital will name the second floor Welcome Desk and a patient room in the Orthopedic Center in honor of Washington Trust.
