January 2, 2008 (Westerly, RI). . . The Washington Trust Bancorp, Inc. was honored with a “Corporate Salute” by The Boston Club, at the club’s annual luncheon on Tuesday, November 13th in Boston. The Bank was honored and acknowledged as one of the New England companies that have appointed women to their board of directors. Washington Trust Bancorp, Inc. has three women directors on its board, Katherine W. Hoxsie, Mary E. Kennard, and Kathleen McKeough.

Founded in 1976, The Boston Club is the area’s largest organization for high-achieving senior executive and professional women.
