
Al Grant, of Narragansett, R.I., has joined Washington Trust as vice president, mortgage lending officer, and is located in the Bank’s Oaklawn Avenue branch office in Cranston. He is responsible for originating mortgage loans and works closely with a network of real estate, financial, and building professionals throughout Rhode Island, Massachusetts and Southeastern Connecticut.
Grant has more than 25 years of lending and management experience, and recently was president of a local mortgage company He has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Rhode Island, and is a Certified Residential Mortgage Specialist (CRMS). Grant is a director for the North Central Chamber of Commerce, a member of the Rhode Island Mortgage Banker’s Association, Massachusetts Mortgage Association, and the National Association of Mortgage Brokers.
