Washington Trust Hires New Assistant Vice President and Mortgage Lending Officer

John G. Mohan, of North Kingstown, R.I., has joined Washington Trust as assistant vice president, mortgage lending officer, and is located in the Bank’s Oaklawn Avenue branch office in Cranston. He is responsible for originating residential mortgages, home equity loans and lines of credit. He will work closely with a network of real estate, financial, and building professionals throughout Rhode Island, Massachusetts and Southeastern Connecticut.

Mohan has more than 15 years of mortgage lending experience. He has a bachelor’s degree in communication studies from the University of Rhode Island, and is a member of their Alumni Association. He is also a member of the LaSalle Academy Alumni Association.
