Washington Trust Executive Vice President Honored by YMCA

David V. Devault, executive vice president, chief financial officer and secretary for The Washington Trust Company, was recently honored by the Rhode Island YMCA Alliance, at the Alliance’s Key Leaders Dinner, on May 7th at the Crowne Plaza in Warwick. He received the Alliance’s first annual “Volunteer of the Year” award.

Devault was honored for his many years of dedicated service, passionate leadership, and tremendous generosity, in support of the mission of The State Alliance of Rhode Island YMCA’s. The State Alliance focuses on public policy, and is committed to work together to advocate for legislation that supports the development of Strong Kids, Strong Families and Strong Communities in Rhode Island. Devault has served as chairman of the RI YMCA State Alliance since 2003, and was past board chair for the Ocean Community YMCA. He also serves on the finance committee for the Ocean Community YMCA in Westerly.
