Washington Trust Appoints New Branch Manager

Washington Trust announces that Kimberly A. Shockley, of West Warwick, R.I., has been appointed branch manager the Bank’s Bonnet Shores Branch in Narragansett. She is responsible for managing the daily operations of the branch, maintaining existing business relationships, and growing the branch’s deposit base and loan portfolios.

Shockley joined Washington Trust in 2006 as a customer sales and service trainee. In 2007, she was promoted to senior customer service representative while continuing her training in the sales and service program. Shockley holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Rhode Island, is the corporate sponsorship chair for the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life, and is a member of the Chambers of Commerce in Narragansett and South Kingstown.
