
Weston Financial Group, a division of Washington Trust Wealth Management, announces that William J. Walsh, of Wellesley, Mass., has been named as director and planning officer.
Walsh has more than 20 years of experience in the financial industry, with the last eight as a senior vice president with Bank of America/US Trust in Boston, where he managed a team of 14 private client advisors and private client managers serving high net worth clients. “We feel real fortunate to have Bill join our group,” said Joseph Robbat, Jr., Weston Financial’s managing director. “Bill has succeeded throughout his career by placing client matters and client service above all else and coaching his teammates to do the same.”
Walsh is a Certified Financial Planner, and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Salem State College in Salem, Mass. He has been an adjunct professor at Boston University, since 1996, where he teaches the Fundamentals of Investments, and the Theory and Practice of Financial Planning.
