Washington Trust Hires New Mortgage Loan Officers
-Mortgage professionals staff new Mass. Office-

Richard R. Boyes, of North Smithfield, R.I., is a senior mortgage consultant. He is responsible for originating mortgage loans and works closely with a network of real estate, financial, and building professionals throughout Rhode Island, Massachusetts and Southeastern Connecticut.Boyes has more than 19 years of lending and management experience, and was senior mortgage consultant and team leader of a local mortgage company. He has a bachelor’s degree from Providence College.


Robert A. Schattle, of Warwick, R.I., is a reverse mortgage specialist. He will educate seniors on reverse mortgages and provide assistance through the reverse mortgage process.Schattle has more than six years of reverse mortgage experience, and has provided services such as seminars and home consultations, on the reverse mortgage program. He has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Rhode Island.

 

Jeffrey T. Shotwell, of Norton, Mass., is a mortgage loan officer, specializing in originating reverse mortgages. He will educate the consumers on the benefits of the Bank’s reverse mortgage product. Shotwell has more than 10 years of mortgage lending experience, most recently as a reverse mortgage specialist and mortgage loan consultant, and 10 years of sales experience, including sales management and as a district manager. Shotwell is a member of the National Association of Mortgage Brokers, and the National Reverse Mortgage Lenders Association. He attended Thomas Nelson College in Virginia, and is a member of the American Legion.

Thomas Wikiera, of North Attleboro, Mass., is a mortgage loan officer. He is responsible for originating mortgage financing for residential properties in Rhode Island and the greater southeastern Massachusetts area. Wikiera has more than 25 years of mortgage lending experience, and has held positions as a vice president and branch manager in the mortgage industry. Throughout his career he has specialized in government loans, FHA and VA, helping hundreds of people to buy their first home. He has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Rhode Island and is a volunteer assistant coach for Bishop Feehan High School.
