Washington Trust Hires New Vice President

Thomas K. Fitzgerald, of Coventry, R.I., has joined Washington Trust as vice president and commercial lending officer, and is located in the Bank’s Commercial Lending Office at 10 Weybosset Street in Providence. He is responsible for developing and maintaining commercial banking relationships throughout the Bank’s market area.

Fitzgerald has more than ten years of banking experience, and most recently was a vice president of middle market lending in Providence. He has an M.B.A from Providence College, and a bachelor’s degree in management from Rhode Island College. Fitzgerald was recently selected as one of Providence Business News’ “40 under 40” in 2009.
