Washington Trust Hires New Assistant Vice President

Albert M. Jaffarian, of Pawtucket, R.I., has joined Washington Trust as an assistant vice president and portfolio manager, and is located in the Bank’s Commercial Lending Office at 10 Weybosset Street in Providence. He is responsible for credit analysis and management of commercial loan portfolios, including asset based loans.

Jaffarian has more than twenty-four years of credit and portfolio management experience, and most recently worked for large financial institutions in both Boston and Providence. He has an M.B.A from Anna Maria College and a bachelor’s degree in management from Worcester State College. Jaffarian is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), and is a member of the Education Advisory Committee for the CFA Institute, and a member of the Providence Society of Financial Analysts.
