Washington Trust Announces Promotion

Washington Trust announces that Valerie A. Eastwood, of Exeter, R.I.., has been promoted to vice president, loan operations. She is responsible for all loan operations functions for all commercial, mortgage and consumer loans, as well as training, coaching and developing staff.

Eastwood joined the Bank in 1987 in the Loan Operations department. She was promoted to Loan Operations Officer in 2001 and then Assistant Vice President, Loan Operations in 2003. Eastwood holds an Associate’s Degree in Internet Communications from New England Institute of Technology, as well as a General Banking diploma from the American Institute of Banking, and an Accounting Certificate from The Huntington Institute.
