Washington Trust Announces Promotions

July 3, 2008 (Westerly, Rhode Island). . .The Washington Trust Company announces the following employee promotions:

Lina Carreiro, of Westerly, R.I., has been promoted to e-commerce officer. Carreiro joined the Bank in 1995 as an administrative assistant in the Consumer Credit department, and was promoted to Quality Control Administrator in 1997. In 1999, she joined the Bank's Richmond Office as an administrative assistant, and then expanded her position to include support of commercial loan portfolios. She joined the E-Commerce department in 2003, and is responsible for providing customer service for online banking customers.

Harmony E. Dolan, of Hopkinton, R.I., has been promoted to human resources officer. Dolan joined the Bank in 1996 and has worked as an items processor, and teller until joining the Human Resources department in 2000 as a payroll administrator. She was promoted to human resources specialist in 2006. Dolan is responsible for HRIS database management, payroll processing and related accounting entries, tax filing, and day-to-day benefit administration. She is certified as a Professional in Human Resources through the Society for Human Resources Management.
