Washington Trust Announces Promotions

Washington Trust announces the following promotions:

Lindsay A. Caldwell, of Richmond, R.I., has been promoted to customer sales & service officer. Caldwell joined the Bank in 2005 as an account information center representative and was promoted to customer sales & service associate in 2007. She works with branch and AIC personnel to resolve sales and customer service issues, as well as helps to improve branch operations. Caldwell is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree from New England College of Finance.

Elaine Fiore, of Mystic, Conn., has been promoted to deposit operations officer. Fiore joined the Bank in 2003 as a GL reconciliation associate in Financial Administration, and was promoted to deposit operations supervisor in 2006. In addition to supervisory responsibilities, she has been actively involved in several key projects. She is currently enrolled in the Bank's Management Certification program. Fiore holds a Bachelor of Arts from Rutgers University and a Masters in Business Administration/Finance from the University of New Haven.

Tyler J. Gibson, of Cranston, R.I., has been promoted to merchant sales officer. Gibson joined the Bank in 2007 as a merchant sales representative, and has consistently exceeded his sales objectives. His ability to analyze statements, reprogram complicated applications, and close the sale has lead to his success. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from California State University.

Tammy L. Joslin, of Hopkinton, R.I., has been promoted to Marketing Research Officer. Joslin joined the Bank in 2007 as a Marketing Research Associate. Her strong technical and analytical skills have allowed her to master the databases which are used for research; prospect and list development; and measurement of business development and investor relations programs. She is actively involved in the Westerly Relay for Life campaign to benefit the American Cancer Society, and participates in many bank-sponsored community events. Joslin holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Massachusetts.

Patrick S. Webber, of Hope Valley, R.I. has been promoted to technology services officer. Webber joined the Bank in 2005 as an information technology intern. He joined the Bank full time in 2006 as a PC specialist, and has been involved in many projects including PC and server replacements, remote deposit capture, and many other high profile technology projects. Webber has completed the Microsoft Certified Systems Engineering (MCSE) training classes and is A+ certified. He serves as a volunteer on the Hope Valley Wyoming fire department.
