
Damon J. Palagi, of Narragansett, R.I., has joined Washington Trust as vice president, branch manager, of the Bank's Centerville Road Branch in Warwick. He is responsible for the day to day management of the branch, with primary focus on business development, retention, joint calling with business partners, and maintaining Washington Trust's active role in the community.
Palagi has more than 10 years of experience in the banking and finance industry, including previous positions in retail branch management, investment sales and service and most recently as a treasury services officer. He has a bachelor's degree from the University of Rhode Island, and is Six Sigma Green Belt Certified. Palagi is a member of the East Greenwich and Central Rhode Island Chambers of Commerce, and is a coach for Fairlawn Little League in Pawtucket.
