Washington Trust announces that Diane L. Lynch, of Westerly, R.I., has been promoted to vice president, consumer lending. She is responsible for the efficient processing and closing of consumer loans, analyzing trends and recommending changes to credit policies, and supporting consumer loan origination efforts. She is also an instructor for the Bank's Omega Consumer Lending training program.
Lynch joined the Bank in 1982 as a teller and transferred to Consumer Credit in 1983, where she was promoted to supervisor in 1986, and then consumer credit officer in 1995. In 1998 she was promoted to assistant manager, consumer credit, and in 2002 to assistant vice president, consumer lending.
