Washington Trust's Charitable Foundation donated $10,000 to local food banks for the Thanksgiving season. The Bank also held its annual food drive from Monday, October 26 through Friday, November 6, and donated hundreds of canned goods and non-perishable food items. Checks of $1,000, along with the food donations collected during the drive, were distributed to these 10 agencies: Comprehensive Community Action in Cranston, Jonnycake Center of Westerly, North Kingstown Food Pantry, Pawcatuck Neighborhood Center in Pawcatuck, Conn., Peace Dale Jonnycake Center, Providence Intown Churches Association, Rhode Island Center Assisting Those in Need in Charlestown, W.A.R.M. Shelter in Westerly, Westbay Community Action in Warwick, and Wood River Health Services in Hope Valley.
