Washington Trust is giving its customers a special gift this holiday season: the Bank has produced a "Think Local" Community Coupon Book featuring thousands of dollars in discounts from hundreds of its local business customers. The Bank distributed fifteen thousand coupon books to its customers through its eighteen branch offices in Rhode Island and southeastern Connecticut.

"The coupon book is one way we can encourage our customers to support local businesses." The book contains more than 200 coupons, with offers from businesses from Pawtucket, Rhode Island to Pawcatuck, Connecticut. Each month features a variety of coupons, with offers such as discounts on oil service, clothing, dining and more. Coupons are valid each month through the end of 2010.
