Westerly, Rhode Island... C. Scott Ostrowski, of North Kingstown, R.I., has been promoted to Vice President and Assistant Director of Internal Audit. His responsibilities include managing all facets of full-scope audits, inclusive of Sarbones-Oxley certification testing, and reporting results to management and the Audit Committee. Ostrowski is also responsible for providing liaison support to the Bank’s external auditors and regulators, working closely with the Audit Director in establishing the annual audit plan and developing the audit staff, as well as functioning as the Audit Department’s information technology expert and preparing the annual IT audit plan.
Prior to joining the Bank in 2006, Ostrowski was Vice President and Senior Project Manager at Citizens Bank in Cranston, R.I. A graduate of the University of Rhode Island, Ostrowski currently serves as Co-President of the Institute of Internal Auditors (Ocean State Chapter). He and his family live in North Kingstown, R.I.
