Westerly, Rhode Island... Representatives from Washington Trust presented “The Washington Trust Team Leadership Award” to two high school seniors at the annual Westerly High School vs. Stonington High School Thanksgiving Day football game. The 2011 award recipients were Arrow Johnson of Stonington High School and Alexander Santangelo of Westerly High School.
The seniors were selected by their coaches because they serve as good role models, leaders, and are loyal sportsmen. They are both held in high regard by their coaches and peers, and have created a legacy of hard work, both on and off the field. They are dedicated to their team mates, continually possess and maintain a positive attitude, and exhibit team spirit.

Barbara Perino, Executive Vice President of Operations and Technology, and Paul Nunes, Vice President and Wealth Management Officer, presented the players with a trophy at the post game award ceremony. The Bank will also make a $100 donation to the charity of each player’s choice.
