RI Philharmonic Photo Selected for I Luv RI Contest

October Winning Photo

Westerly, Rhode Island... Washington Trust and Rhode Island Monthly announced today that “Music in the Fall,” a photo taken by Raymond Larson, of Pawtucket, R.I., is the recent winner of the I Luv RI 2012 photo contest and appears in the October issue of Rhode Island Monthly Magazine.

“I chose this photo because it signifies Rhode Island in a very unique way. It was taken at The Pawtucket Arts Festival ‘Pops in the Park’, a true Rhode Island Fall celebration,” said Larson. It shows the Rhode Island Philharmonic Pops orchestra, a Rhode Island jewel, playing at their last Pops concert of the season.”

“The Rhode Island Philharmonic Orchestra is a wonderful Rhode Island institution,” stated Joseph J. MarcAurele, Washington Trust Chairman, President and CEO. “Through their great music performances and educational programs at the Music School they enrich the lives of our friends and neighbors in Rhode Island, nearby Massachusetts and throughout New England.”
