Business Spotlight: Tender Hearts Child Care and Learning Center
For 15 years, Tender Hearts Child Care and Learning Center has provided families in Rhode Island with an exceptional early childhood program in a safe, nurturing environment. We strive to give each child the opportunity to grow and develop physically, cognitively, and socially in a safe, happy, and caring place. Owners Robert and Deborah Thomson believe Tender Hearts is the perfect place for children to develop, learn and find self-esteem. The Center is a privately owned by the Thomsons, who say they started the business to create a learning environment that feels more like a family, and seeing the children grow and flourish as they move through the school is their favorite part of owning this business.
Fully licensed by the Rhode Island Department of Children, Youth & Families Services, as well as the Department of Education, Tender Hearts’ students can attend from age six weeks through Kindergarten. And best of all, they offer year-round care. The center provides peace of mind to those who seek a quality childcare and educational environment, and parents can rest assured that each child is well cared for in a stimulating environment that allows for growth and development.
The Thomsons have lived in Warwick all of their lives and enjoy the sense of community it provides. They do their banking with local partner Washington Trust, and love how easy it is to keep their finances in order either in person or online.
