Washington Trust Hires New Mortgage Lending Leader in Greater Boston Market

Braintree, MA –The Washington Trust Company is pleased to announce that Bill Niland of Waltham, Massachusetts, has been hired as the Vice President and Regional Manager for the Washington Trust Mortgage Company LLC in Massachusetts. Bill will be headquartered in the Braintree office and will be responsible for leading and growing a very experienced team of loan officers in the Greater Boston market.

Bill has more than 28 years of leadership & management experience from companies located throughout the Greater Boston area, most recently serving as an Assistant Vice President and Residential Loan Officer with Northern Bank & Trust Company.

Bill is an active member of the community, having served on the Board of Directors for both local youth soccer and basketball for many years. He is still involved in coaching, and currently volunteers his time as a coach at the high school & AAU levels. Bill graduated from Framingham State University, and lives in Waltham with his wife and three daughters.
