About David

David is Assistant Vice President and Mortgage Team Leader based in Washington Trust Mortgage Company’s Wellesley office. He has more than 25 years of experience in the mortgage lending industry and is responsible for developing and maintaining mortgage lending relationships while also leading a team of lending professionals throughout Washington Trust’s Massachusetts market area. He began his career as a mortgage broker and branch manager and operated his own mortgage lending business for several years. He has worked with several regional and national mortgage lending companies, including 8 previous years with Washington Trust Mortgage Company, and his experience as both a broker and a lender has provided him with a thorough understanding of the complexities of the mortgage industry. David has specific expertise in first time homebuyer, construction, portfolio loans, bridge loans, and home equity loans and lines of credit. 

David holds a bachelor’s degree from Colby-Sawyer College. A Massachusetts resident, David is actively engaged in the communities that Washington Trust serves. He is a current volunteer with the Attleboro Youth Basketball Association, where he has served as Director for more than a decade.
