About Ellen
Fangyuan (Ellen) Xu is a Senior Mortgage Loan Officer based out of Washington Trust’s Braintree, MA office.
She has more than 15 years of experience in the mortgage lending industry, with specific expertise in traditional conforming and jumbo loans, as well as portfolio loans for self-employed individuals, new immigrants, and foreign nationals. Additionally, she has extensive knowledge in investment properties and non-warrantable condos. Ellen holds a master’s degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign.
A Massachusetts resident, Ellen is actively engaged in the communities that Washington Trust serves. Her fluency in both English and Mandarin enables her to serve a diverse clientele.
