Help Feed Our Neighbors in Need!

Washington Trust has kicked off its 24th Annual Peanut Butter Drive and your support is needed now more than ever.

Since 2001, Washington Trust has hosted the Annual Peanut Butter Drive in order to help food pantries throughout our footprint restock their shelves with this healthy, family-friendly pantry staple. To date, we have collected the equivalent of 159 tons of peanut butter to support our neighbors in need!

Did you know?*

  • 1 in 3 households in Rhode Island are food insecure, meaning they cannot meet their basic food needs
  • 38% of households with children in RI are food insecure

Now is your chance to make a difference! Donate to the Peanut Butter Drive today to ensure that families have access to healthy, protein-rich, nutritious options like peanut butter.

Supporting Local Hunger Relief Organizations

We’re proud to work with local hunger relief agencies throughout our footprint who are providing food assistance to our neighbors in need. Each of our branches collect peanut butter on behalf of local hunger relief agencies in their neighborhoods. Visit them anytime during the month of March to drop off your jars!
