Washington Trust’s Tony Sutton Named Tech10 “Next Tech Generation Award” Winner by Tech Collective

Westerly, RI –The Washington Trust Company recently announced that Tony Sutton, a Senior Technology Services Specialist with the company, was recognized as a “Next Tech Generation Award” winner in the annual Tech10 Awards program.

The annual awards program, sponsored by Tech Collective and awarded in partnership with Rhode Island Monthly, recognizes the individuals and companies who are driving innovation and growth across Rhode Island’s technology ecosystem. Specifically, the “Next Tech Generation Award” recognizes those that are new to the industry and who are already leading the next generation of innovators and pioneering forward-thinking in technology.
Tony is a member of the Help Desk team within the Information Technology division at Washington Trust. In his role, he oversees the most complex and challenging issues from end users and is also responsible for designing and coordinating many of the updates that keep bank equipment up to date and secure.

All 2021 Tech10 award winners will be recognized at an awards ceremony that will be held on Wednesday, December 1 at District Hall Providence. The December issue of Rhode Island Monthly will also feature profiles of all Tech10 award winners.
