Kristen is Senior Executive Vice President, Chief Human Resources Officer and Corporate Secretary for Washington Trust and Washington Trust Bancorp, Inc. A senior human resource professional, Kristen has more than 29 years of experience, primarily within the financial services industry. She is responsible for establishing and managing human resource strategy as well as overseeing all activities designed to attract, develop, and engage Washington Trust’s 600+ employee workforce. Her specific responsibilities include talent management and acquisition, compliance, learning and organizational development, compensation, benefits, and employee relations. Kristen also has extensive public company expertise in the areas of corporate governance, succession planning, and executive compensation and benefits.
Kristen holds a bachelor of arts in speech communication from the University of Rhode Island, and is a graduate of the Beta II class of Leadership Rhode Island. She serves on the Board of Directors of Year Up Rhode Island; the Board of Trustees for Saint Elizabeth Community; and the Human Resources Committee of the Ocean Community YMCA. She is also a Corporation Member for Blue Cross & Blue Shield of RI and a Corporate Member of Delta Dental of RI.
