Mark Cousineau
Vice President, Commercial Banking
Mark is responsible for originating, structuring, and executing lending and deposit transactions for a diverse portfolio of clients, including manufacturers, nonprofits, professional practices, and family-owned businesses.
Mark has more than 20 years of experience in the banking industry, and deep knowledge in investment banking, commercial lending, currency exchange, treasury management, and credit-related products. He has experience serving a diverse array of customers and delivering tailored financial solutions that exceed client service standards and foster sustainable economic value. Prior to joining Washington Trust, Mark held commercial lending and relationship management roles at Citizens Bank, Wells Fargo, and Bank of America.
Mark holds a bachelor’s degree from Rhode Island College, holds the Certified Trust Financial Advisor (CTFA) designation, and has earned a Series 6 NASD Certification.
A Rhode Island resident, Mark is actively involved in the communities that Washington Trust serves. He currently serves as a Board Member of the Rhode Island Manufacturers Association and Treasurer of the St. Edward Food & Wellness Center. His previous community involvement includes serving as a Board Member and Mentor at Year Up of RI, Advisor to the Governor’s Manufacturing Advisory Council, Board Member of Special Olympics Rhode Island, and Board Member and Finance Chair at Times2 Academy.
