Vice President, Cash Management
Michael Geoghegan joined Washington Trust 2016 and served as assistant vice president of the Governor Francis Branch in Warwick for seven years before becoming vice president and Barrington branch manager in 2023. In 2025, Michael joined the Cash Management Sales team, where he focuses on developing and delivering cash management solutions to commercial clients, ensuring their banking needs are met efficiently and securely. He has worked in retail banking in Rhode Island since 2002.
Michael is an active supporter of the American Red Cross of Rhode Island, serving as secretary of the board of directors, and on the Disaster Action Team and Mission Capacity Committee. He also supports the American Heart Association’s annual Heart Walk. Previously, Michael served as treasurer for the Central Rhode Island Chamber of Commerce’s board of directors.
